Baptism Sunday

Today was Thomas's baptism. It was beautiful and he was so happy and well-behaved. I guess he smiled the whole time and made the entire congregation laugh. I couldn't see his face since I was the one holding him. And once again we sucked at taking pictures. We got none on our camera of the actual baptism, and we didn't get a chance to get his picture with all the generations of family members like we did with Amelia. I'm hoping that my family members got some good ones and can send them on to me *hint hint*. Here's the poor little guy, pooped after all the excitement.
John said he felt tall until I got on the same step as he was on, in my 4 inch heels. Whatever, I'm taller anyway, deal with it. :)
Have to get the sweet big sister in the picture too. She did so good during the service. She usually does anyway, but she got to sit with Nana through the whole service today and she's not always on her best behavior when she is showing off for Nana.
I thought it was neat that we apparently picked the perfect weekend for the baptism. It just so happened that it fell on the week where the sermon was about disciples Peter and Thomas. It was a beautiful sermon about how Thomas's doubt was not only part of his faith, but actually ended up strengthening his faith. It reminded me of the prayer, "Lord, I believe, help my unbelief."
Well, it's getting late, time to turn in. Hopefully more pictures to come later when I get some from family.
