....I should be finishing packing everything for this trip to Kentucky. I was getting tired though and needed a snack, so I'm taking a short break. Who knew that two small children would require so many things:
Several changes of clothing for 4 days
Massive amounts of diapers
Bottles and juice drinks
2 PeaPod tents
3 suitcases
1 breastpump
Tons of bibs and burp rags for a certain little man who spits up constantly
Bathing supplies
Snacks for the road
Tunes for the road
Digital camera for all the cute stuff they do
Toys for a busy little girl
Movies for the long ride
*SIGH* It makes me tired just thinking about it!
It will be so much fun and so worth it though once we get there. So excited for Dad, Mary, Rob, and John to meet Thomas for the first time.
On a funny note, Amelia gave me a scare and a laugh within seconds of each other this morning. I went up to wake her up to get ready for daycare, and I got quite a fright for a second when I noticed she was not in her bed. I looked down at the floor and started laughing when I saw two footie pajama feet sticking out from under the bed. It looked like when the Wicked Witch is under the house on the Wizard of Oz. Apparently she must have been playing under there at bed time and fallen asleep. She had her Lion, Puppy Pillow, Snuggle and Blankie to keep her company and must have been quite comfy to not get back up in bed. Oh well. She is so silly.
Alright, better get back to it. Time to make sure everything is together.
