And Amelia....

Oh Amelia.....my crazy daughter. She is the most creative and imaginative child I know.

Since Thomas is still far too small to play with her, she uses Jasmine as her primary playmate. Poor dog.

She is so patient with this hyper, crazy child.

This morning we put the "stickers" on the window for Valentine's Day (I know, it's still a ways off, but it's the closest holiday). Amelia used painstaking precision in determining the perfect spot for each sticker. I admire her perfection, but it can be quite a challenge to deal with when you are trying to get out of the house and she has to put her toys "right here."

Not only is she so creative and imaginitive, she is incredibly headstrong too. Last night she was getting Lion to "go pee pee on the potty," yet she has no interest in using it herself. If it wasn't so frustrating, it would almost be funny. She had me put a diaper on Lion, you know, for between potty visits. She is so creative that last night before supper she was up at the dining room table with her diapered Lion and opened his diaper to deposit little rocks from the centerpiece in there to simulate "poo-doo." I gave her kudos for her creativity and then told her to put the rocks back.
