It has been a year of firsts for our big girl. New baby brother, potty training, new big girl bed, and now her first haircut. She was a little unsure what to expect at first. When we told her she would be getting her hair cut she thought it would "hurt." You can see her anxiety in the first picture.

When the hair washing started, she was put at ease. She loved this part, but didn't sit still very well and ended up getting her cape soaked with water.

She spent the entire haircut watching it in the mirror. Probably making sure she would like the new style. :) (The new style is pretty much the same as the old style, just evened up.)

And the finished product! She was so cute when Sara asked her, "Do you want me to put some stuff in it to make it smell good?" "YES!!!" She sat still as a statue while Sara styled it. She did a surprisingly good job.

This little bald guy doesn't have enough hair yet to cut! He just sat back and looked cute. :)
Amelia,
ReplyDeleteYou were such a big, good girl for Sara! I am so glad that I was able to be there to watch you at the "Hair Cut Store"! Don't let Mommy throw away your curls. Grandma Rose still has Uncle Randy's and he is 57 years old. Do you think yours will make it that long?
I love you,
Nana
